About the role
This role is part of the Coating engineering team introducing new products to advanced optics and interferometer production. You will develop new coating processes and support production to meet requirements for interferometer assemblies.
What you'll do
- Develop new coating processes and support production for interferometer assemblies. - Drive optical coating process development, yield improvements, and process troubleshooting. - Utilize a background in physics and optical engineering to execute improvements in optical processes. - Work directly with process engineers and technicians to sustain production flow. - Interface with product development and R&D teams on coatings for new products.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a major in Physics, Optical engineering, Material Science, or a similar technical field. - Valid work authorization without requiring sponsorship.
