About the role
This role involves supporting manufacturing operations and driving continual improvement in process methods for CMP and Wet Process technologies.
What you'll do
- Support manufacturing operations in a high-interrupt and rapidly ramping tool install environment.
- Develop and implement improved CMP and Wet Process methods of manufacturing, procedures, and processes for efficiencies, yields, machine operations, and quality.
- Implement project or improvement plans for areas including efficiency, cost reduction, quality, new product support, and process improvements.
- Provide training to junior colleagues and process technicians, and maintain/improve training documentation.
- Identify systematic problems in process or equipment related sources and communicate findings to engineering staff.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 2+ years relevant Semiconductor Process/manufacturing experience.
Nice to have
- Strong foundation in statistical process control, engineering change control and process release strategies.
- Proficiency with Python, Claude, or other AI models or tools.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
