About the role
This role involves driving continual improvement in manufacturing processes and procedures for CMP and Wet Process methods.
What you'll do
- Support manufacturing operations in a high-interrupt and rapidly ramping tool install environment.
- Develop and implement improved CMP and Wet Process manufacturing methods, procedures, and processes for improved efficiencies, yields, machine operations, and quality.
- Develop new processes from the ground up for advanced node development with high-volume manufacturing in mind.
- Perform lot and equipment dispositions to support continuous production flow and minimize cycle time in a high volume manufacturing 300mm wafer Fab running Analog Technologies.
- Provide training to junior colleagues and process technicians.
- Identify systematic problems in either process or equipment related sources and communicate findings to engineering staff.
What you'll need
- Masters degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 5 years relevant experience.
Nice to have
- Strong foundation in statistical process control, engineering change control and process release strategies.
- Proficiency with Python, Claude, or other AI models or tools.
- Experience with AMAT and EBARA CMP process tools.
- Experience with Single Wafer Clean Process Tools (LAM, TEL, DNS) and High-K cleans.
- Strong understanding of Cu and Al BEOL integrations.
- Ability to develop an empty process space from conception to high-volume manufacturing.
