About the role
The CMP Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for correctly maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a high-volume wafer manufacturing environment. The position supports manufacturing process yield and productivity goals across chemical mechanical polishing tools.
What you'll do
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment to achieve manufacturing process yield and productivity goals. - Perform equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair, and operation of semiconductor chemical mechanical polishing equipment, including AMAT_MIRRA, DNS_AS2000, and ONTRACK_SCRUBBER systems. - Read and interpret schematics and complex drawings/diagrams to resolve hardware and electrical issues. - Support physical equipment handling requirements, including standing for long periods of time and lifting or carrying objects up to 50 pounds.
What you'll need
- Minimum of 5 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience (or a minimum of 7 years of NXP or affiliate experience). - Experience with advanced electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair, and operation of Semiconductor Chemical Mechanical Polishing equipment. - Hands-on equipment experience with AMAT_MIRRA, DNS_AS2000, or ONTRACK_SCRUBBER tools. - Demonstrated ability to read schematics and complex drawings/diagrams. - Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
