About the role
As a new grad Cloud Platform Engineer, you will write automation and infrastructure code to keep the production inference service fast and available. You will manage Kubernetes clusters and Terraform modules supporting workloads on Reconfigurable Dataflow Unit (RDU) accelerators.
What you'll do
- Build monitoring, alerting, and dashboards in Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog. - Manage cloud and on-prem infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible. - Operate and maintain Kubernetes clusters that run inference workloads. - Help automate the setup of infrastructure in new regions. - Build CI/CD pipelines to deploy new model versions and service updates safely using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD. - Participate in a shared on-call rotation and incident response.
What you'll need
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Programming or scripting skills in Python, Go, or a similar language. - Familiarity with Linux, command line tools, and networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP. - Coursework or project experience in distributed systems, networking, or cloud computing. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and public cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Experience with Terraform, Prometheus or Grafana, and CI/CD tools.
Nice to have
- M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Familiarity with model serving frameworks such as vLLM or SGLang. - Internship experience in site reliability, DevOps, or backend infrastructure. - Open source project ownership or contributions.
