About the role
This role is for a Circuit Design Engineer intern joining the Advanced Memory Development team. The position focuses on circuit designs from architecture and validation through parasitic modeling and layout supervision.
What you'll do
- Develop circuit designs from architecture through circuit development and validation.
- Develop models including parasitic and load.
- Supervise layout development with layout designers.
What you'll need
- Pursuing a graduate degree in the field of Electrical Engineering with a focus in VLSI Circuit design.
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso or similar design suite tools for daily schematic work.
- Experience with custom circuit design simulation and waveform tools such as HSPICE, SPECTRE, FINESIM, or EZWAVE.
- Experience in CMOS Digital Logic design using custom circuit design.
- Deep knowledge of CMOS device physics.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one analog building block such as regulators, bandgap, current mirrors, level shifters, buffering circuits, DAC, ADC, temperature sensors (PTAT), or high speed CMOS circuits.
- In-depth knowledge of analog and mixed signal circuits and concepts including mismatch, linearity, and low power CMOS design.
