About the role
This role performs routine sampling and analysis for fab process chemicals, fab process water, and clean room environments for TSMC Arizona.
What you'll do
- Perform routine sampling and analysis for Fab process chemical, Fab process water, and clean room environment. - Spend significant time in a clean room environment working with industrial chemicals, specifically concentrated acids and bases. - Collect, organize, and report contamination and analytical data to internal and external customers. - Assist engineers with analytical method development and record contamination levels. - Manage equipment-related maintenance and chemicals while maintaining laboratory housekeeping (5S) protocols. - Support Fab manufacturing operations and participate in team on-call schedules.
What you'll need
- Associate’s degree at a Science/Engineering/Technology school or equivalent experience. - Basic PC skills in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. - Ability to follow standard operating procedures for chemical handling. - Basic to intermediate knowledge of instrumental analysis techniques. - Flexibility to work night and weekend shifts when assigned, including overtime as needed.
Nice to have
- 6-12+ months of experience working in a chemical lab.
