About the role
This role focuses on understanding customer technical needs and industry trends to create systems level solutions, driving technical collaboration with customers, product lines, and the TI sales force.
What you'll do
- Work with customers to provide innovative solutions to their challenging problems.
- Utilize TI's broad portfolio to combine TI parts into whole system level solutions.
- Combine hardware and software capabilities to integrate complete TI solutions.
- Develop reference designs, including block diagram, schematic capture, PCB layout, fabrication, assembly, and testing.
- Interface with TI business units and customers to influence product roadmaps.
- Gather user requirements, translate them to functional specifications, and implement solutions and enhancements.
- Perform troubleshooting and debugging on system-related issues directly with customers.
What you'll need
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA.
- Understanding of and experience with system design, including writing IC design specifications, developing algorithms, and creating system reference models.
- Knowledge in structured and/or object oriented programming (C, C++) and signal processing tools (Matlab).
Nice to have
- Analysis of common electrical circuits.
- Familiarity with schematic capture simulation tools.
- Ability to use data and calculations to select best fitting parts.
- Ability to break down and analyze complex systems.
