About the role
This role involves driving continual improvement in quality within Texas Instruments' manufacturing facilities, focusing on systems, tools, and business partner relationships. The selected candidate will engage in projects across various quality engineering specializations within TI's fabs.
What you'll do
- Conduct frequent analysis of fab process control data and assist in troubleshooting fab processes.
- Perform failure analysis on products to determine the root cause of failure.
- Solve challenging technical product quality issues using data analytics and manufacturing process knowledge.
- Manage the customer product return process for quality and reliability issues.
- Work with design teams and product groups for new device reliability qualification requirements.
- Interface with customers to address reliability and qualification related questions.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related degree.
- Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA, or higher.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with MBayse, Spotfire, 8D, Root cause analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of standard Quality Systems such as QTS, SFC, QC Story, Alerts.
