About the role
The Capacity Planning Engineer will leverage advanced capacity modeling approaches, data analytics, statistical methods, and factory planning concepts to drive strategic decision making, improve fab efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
What you'll do
- Own capacity modeling for all production toolsets, providing technical direction and long-term improvement roadmaps.
- Lead the development and deployment of advanced analytics, statistical models, and decision-support tools to improve factory performance.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Cycle Time, throughput, and bottleneck tool performance.
- Partner with Operations leadership to define factory metrics and prioritize high-impact improvements.
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to factory leadership to influence strategic planning and policy decisions.
- Mentor and coach entry-level team members, providing technical leadership on high-impact projects.
What you'll need
- BS in Industrial Engineering or related degree.
- 2+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise with capacity modeling techniques, statistical methods, and planning tools used in Manufacturing Science and Production Control.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects, influence cross-functional teams, and deliver measurable factory improvements.
- Strong proficiency with Data Mining & Analytics using ETL tools such as SQL, APF, Google Big Query, Oracle.
Nice to have
- Semiconductor manufacturing experience.
- Experience developing and maintaining Tableau dashboards or similar visualization tools.
- Working knowledge of APF Real Time Dispatching (RTD).
