About the role
This role involves managing procurement activities to support New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.
What you'll do
- Lead procurement activities for NPI projects from development through product launch.
- Coordinate supplier engagement, quotations, lead times, and material readiness activities.
- Analyze material requirements and execute purchase orders to support project schedules.
- Manage component transitions, engineering changes, and supplier readiness activities.
- Resolve supply, quality, delivery, and cost issues impacting program milestones.
- Support cost reduction, risk mitigation, and business continuity initiatives.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
- English Proficiency
- 5+ years of experience in Purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, or NPI procurement roles.
- 5+ years of experience working with suppliers in a manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years of experience supporting new product introductions and engineering change management.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Nice to have
- Experience in electronics, semiconductors, medical devices, or high-technology manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of supplier management, commodity strategies, and global supply chain operations.
- APICS, CPM, CPSM, or similar professional certification.
