About the role
As a Business Quality Engineer, you will prepare and organize documentation to support quality business processes within Wolfspeed's Quality Management System.
What you'll do
- Consult with stakeholders to draft documentation related to Product Change Notifications (PCNs).
- Track and report on the status of open PCNs.
- Review, map, and organize Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs) into internal standard operating procedures.
- Support PPAP Compilation by collecting, analyzing, and collating quality data packages.
- Coordinate review and execution of customer survey requests.
- Assist with Product Compliance requests and submissions.
What you'll need
- BS in Engineering or Technical field with 0-3 years of experience OR an associate’s degree in quality, Business Engineering Technology, Electronics, or related technical field with 5+ years’ experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Experience in semiconductor, electronics, or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of quality systems, semiconductor materials, and semiconductor wafer fabrication.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation practices.
Nice to have
- Experience with IATF 16949, AS9100, or ISO9001.
- Basic understanding of quality core tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC).
