About the role

This role is for a Business Development Manager within the Metrology division, combining industry market insight, product positioning, and commercial strategy to penetrate new technology and expand market share. You will focus on increasing product adoption and maximizing divisional revenue and margin for metrology equipment.

What you'll do

- Deeply understand customer and competitor intelligence to align product positioning and pricing strategy with division leadership and product marketing. - Optimize value proposition and pricing strategy for strategic customers and regions. - Develop product commercial and bundle/VPA strategy with regional business development owners and business unit account managers. - Provide periodic market map analysis to division stakeholders to inform business objectives and engagement strategy. - Generate accurate forecasts based on industry market changes, product intensity, and growth strategy. - Guide manufacturing build plans and delivery priority based on accurate forecasts and guide finance revenue plans based on delivery and engagement scenarios.

What you'll need

- Master's or PhD degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Business, or related field. - 8+ years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment. - Direct experience in semiconductor metrology, inspection, or process control equipment. - Experience in business development, product life cycle, product marketing, or technical sales. - Demonstrated success growing strategic semiconductor accounts and driving technology adoption. - Strong executive communication, business planning, and commercial leadership skills. - Strong skills in Excel, data management, and/or project management.

Nice to have

- Experience with metrology or inspection process control technologies. - Experience working with global customers at different time zones. - Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese language skills.
