About the role
This junior-level role involves participating in Intel and AMD platform BIOS development projects, focusing on platform bring-up, BIOS porting, debugging, and validation.
What you'll do
- Participate in BIOS development and platform porting projects for Intel and AMD platforms.
- Assist in platform bring-up, BIOS build verification, and system boot validation.
- Analyze debug logs, serial logs, and system behaviors to identify root causes.
- Assist in troubleshooting BIOS-related issues and implementing fixes.
- Learn UEFI BIOS architecture and firmware development fundamentals.
- Work closely with local and global engineering teams.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems or related technical disciplines.
- Solid programming skills in C.
- Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms and Computer Organization and Architecture.
- Ability to read and understand English technical documentation.
- CET-4 or equivalent English proficiency.
