Develop 3D models, coordinate clash detection, and manage space allocation for semiconductor tools using Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.

About the role

As a BIM Engineer, you will design and optimize semiconductor FAB projects through Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create 3D models, manage tool layouts, and ensure project compliance across global FAB facilities.

What you'll do

- Utilize BIM software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam to develop 3D models, manage spatial layouts for new FAB tool design, and manage space allocation for tools. - Conduct field observations to assess construction readiness and verify on-site conditions against the 3D federated model. - Assign facility ports to semiconductor tools and ensure tool requirements align with project specifications. - Coordinate between tool engineering modules, Facility engineers, ISEP (Integrated Systems Engineering and Planning), IT, and AMHS (Automated Material Handling Systems). - Use tools like Navisworks to perform clash detection and coordinate resolutions across disciplines. - Support projects across FAB facilities in Taiwan, Japan, Europe, and global FAB expansions while maintaining detailed design documentation.

What you'll need

- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 1-3 years of modeling experience, or at least 1 year in semiconductor construction. - Proficiency in auto-programming and BIM software including Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam. - Experience collaborating with engineers, construction teams, and stakeholders during design and build phases. - Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required, including extended international assignments.

Nice to have

- Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Software Engineering, or Construction Management. - Parametric modeling, clash detection, and project visualization skills using Navisworks Manage, Dynamo for Revit, or BIM plug-ins. - Prior experience in semiconductor FAB design, high-tech facility development, or cleanroom environments. - Knowledge of international and regional building codes and standards. - Ability to communicate in Mandarin, German, or Japanese.

Skills: BIM software, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, FAB tool design, space allocation, clash detection
