About the role
This internship focuses on research and development activities related to Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) technology within the Global Operations business group.
What you'll do
- Perform topology analysis to improve target designs.
- Realize filter layouts using BAW technology.
- Implement laminate and full module simulations.
- Extract topologies for filters and multiplexer networks from competitor parts.
- Fit competitor performance from measurements to extract filter parameters.
What you'll need
- Pursuing MS/PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
- Completed coursework in RF/Microwave circuit design.
- Experience with electromagnetic/RF simulation tools (HFSS, ADS, AWR).
- Familiar with RF measurement and equipment including spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Nice to have
- Experience with filter design.
- Experience with impedance matching.
- Experience with RF packaging.
