About the role
This role involves designing, developing, modifying, validating, and integrating software applications, embedded software, and specialized utility programs that demonstrate future automotive concepts.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the design, development, modification, validation, and debugging of embedded, Android, edge, and utility software applications.
- Implement and integrate software features that support automotive concept demonstrations, prototype experiences, and customer or trade show showcases.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements, clarify technical expectations, and select appropriate implementation approaches.
- Support coding, unit testing, debugging, issue resolution, and integration activities to ensure project deliverables meet specifications and schedules.
- Use software tools and debugging techniques to analyze system behavior, identify issues, improve quality, and support performance optimization.
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation for software features, integration steps, issues, and validation results.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong programming fundamentals in languages such as C/C++, Java, Kotlin, or Python.
- Familiarity with Android, Linux, Windows, or QNX operating systems.
- Understanding of basic software design, development, debugging, testing, and integration practices.
- Familiarity with source version control, issue tracking, and collaborative software development workflows.
Nice to have
- Experience with embedded software debugging tools.
- Familiarity with automotive, IoT, Qt, or user experience technologies.
- Interest in using AI-assisted tools as part of the software development life cycle.
