About the role

You will contribute to advancing automotive innovation as part of a multi-disciplinary team of researchers and software developers.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with internal teams to advance automotive innovation.

What you'll need

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. degree program in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Available for 11–14 weeks during Summer 2027 (May–September).
  • Expected graduation date of November 2027 or later.
  • 1 year of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python.

Nice to have

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD degree program in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Anticipated graduation between November 2027 and June 2028.
  • Experience in Positioning, Perception, or Planning in ADAS/Autonomy/AD.
  • Safety-critical software development process, including ASPICE, ASIL, ISO26262, MISRA C++.
  • ROS/ROS2, DDS, Adaptive AUTOSAR middleware and frameworks.
  • Robotics, Autonomous Driving, Lidar, Scene Segmentation, Object Detection.
  • Embedded software driver development in C/C++/Assembly with OS & Multi-processor concepts.
  • Multi-Task Learning Networks (MTN).
  • Sensor Fusion, Positioning, SLAM, Motion Planning.
  • SysML, Systems Engineering and Analysis.
  • Familiarity with MBSE / System Modeling.
  • System data-flows for MM & ML functions.
  • Model-based development, Safety Analysis, Semi-formal notation, DFMEA, FMEDA.
  • Experience or familiarity with tools such as SysML, UML, UML-RT, Magic Draw, IBM Rhapsody, Sparx Enterprise Architect.
  • Programming in C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, Java, Shell.
