About the role
This role contributes to the new Automotive System and Platform architecture organization, building expertise at the system and software level within NXP.
What you'll do
- Use Architecture systems and Software engineering tools to understand architecture trade-offs and how they are impacted by NXP products.
- Prototype on different Archetype to analyze and explore partitioning and Key Performance Indicators (Power and Performance).
- Collaborate with NXP engineering and Architecture Automotive teams on Architecture exploration, analysis, and execution.
- Define System and Software Architecture solutions for CoreRide platforms covering different archetypes.
- Deliver System and Software Architecture specifications and support execution teams.
What you'll need
- Experience of System and Software architecture definition and development.
- Knowledge and experience in vehicle functions and Software Platforms from drivers to middleware.
- Strong Software Architecture skills to define frameworks and components with understanding of interdependencies within the global system ECU or Vehicle.
- 8+ years experience in the automotive market.
- History of engagement with automotive Tier1 and/or OEM.
- Experience in hardware, software and system solutions that enable car architecture evolution.
