About the role
This role involves the programming, integration, configuration, testing, and commissioning of automation systems applied to high-tech industrial machinery.
What you'll do
- Program, configure, and parameterize PLC and on-board machine automation systems.
- Integrate and verify automation systems and subsystems, including communication between PLC, devices, and plant components.
- Execute functional tests, commissioning, and startup at the company headquarters and international sites.
- Diagnose and resolve software anomalies and control system issues through debugging and troubleshooting activities.
- Perform operational interventions on machinery, supporting installation, configuration, wiring, and verification of automation components.
- Interpret electrical schematics, functional specifications, and technical documentation.
What you'll need
- Technical Diploma, ITS, or Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Automation, Informatics, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
- Experience in similar roles or in industrial automation activities.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and control logic for automated machinery and systems.
- Ability to perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting activities.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
- Willingness to travel internationally for approximately 60% of the year.
