About the role
This role monitors, maintains, and repairs semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment to ensure uninterrupted production flow. Work centers on copper plate and clean equipment, including Novellus Sabre Platers, LAM Da Vinci tools, and DNS/SCREEN scrubbers.
What you'll do
- Identify and manage parts, assemblies, and calibration instruments required for preventative maintenance activities.
- Optimize PM activities, perform PM kitting, and update WSS procedures based on technician and tool owner feedback.
- Provide technical support through troubleshooting, diagnostics, adjustments, repair, modifications, assembly, and calibration according to specifications, blueprints, and manuals.
- Perform routine electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose root causes and implement permanent fixes.
- Maintain accurate logs of work performed, equipment modifications, calibrations, adjustments, and area 5S standards.
- Coordinate with supervision to establish tool priorities and estimated return-to-production times for down equipment.
What you'll need
- Associates Degree plus 2 years of industry experience in a semiconductor fab, or equivalent semiconductor fab experience as an Equipment Technician.
- Experience or knowledge in at least one of the following tool types: Semitool Millennium Platers, DNS/SCREEN Scrubbers (80B and EX tools), Novellus Sabre Platers, LAM Da Vinci, or TEL Antares.
- Demonstrated electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills on semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment.
