About the role
This role serves as the technical owner of end-to-end validation strategy, architecture, and execution at scale across distributed farm environments for AMD EPYC and AMD Instinct server platforms.
What you'll do
- Design and evolve validation coverage strategy to maximize bug discovery, minimize customer escapes, and align validation with customer usage.
- Drive validation capabilities across content, tool, and script development, technical methodology enhancement, and cross-functional technical initiatives.
- Assess customer escapes, translate them into structured validation test plans to close coverage gaps, and mitigate risks prior to production.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure all features are validated and optimized on schedule.
- Debug issues found during the process, bring-up, validation, and production phases of SOC programs.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Experience in pre-silicon and post-silicon validation, including system-level validation.
- Experience serving as a validation architect for Client, SoC, or Server products.
- Hands-on knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategy.
- Programming and scripting skills in languages such as C, C++, Perl, Ruby, or Python.
