About the role
As an Associate Test Engineer in our Product Development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cost-effective methods for testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. You will work across all phases of product development and manufacturing, preparing test and diagnostic programs, designing test fixtures and equipment, and completing specifications and procedures for new products.
What you'll do
- Design and develop cost-effective testing methodologies for validating systems and equipment performance.
- Assist in preparing test and diagnostic programs to evaluate product functionality and performance metrics.
- Support the design of test fixtures and equipment for evaluating product performance.
- Help define test setups that subject devices to various stresses required for standards compliance.
- Assist in planning labor, schedules, and equipment allocation for testing activities.
- Contribute to the design of PCBs for test setups and evaluation boards.
What you'll need
- Ability to create structured test cases that validate product functionality and performance against specifications.
- Basic understanding of diagnostic testing methodologies to identify product defects and performance issues.
- Fundamental knowledge of designing simple test fixtures to support product evaluation.
- Capability to document clear testing procedures that can be followed consistently by others.
- Basic skills in estimating resource needs for testing activities.
- Fundamental knowledge of PCB design principles for test applications.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in test engineering or a related field.
