About the role
Cadence Design Systems is seeking an Associate Talent Acquisition Partner to manage end-to-end recruitment for engineering roles across the semiconductor, VLSI, and EDA domains. The role focuses on sourcing and closing positions spanning RTL/ASIC/SoC Design, Design Verification, Physical Design, STA, DFT, and related areas.
What you'll do
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from requisition intake, sourcing, and screening to interview coordination, offer negotiation, and closure.
- Partner with hiring managers to evaluate technical requirements, define candidate profiles, and execute recruitment strategies.
- Source active and passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Boolean/X-Ray search, referrals, databases, and talent mapping.
- Recruit across specialized skill domains including RTL/ASIC/SoC Design, Design Verification, UVM/SystemVerilog, Physical Design/PnR, STA, DFT, Analog/Mixed-Signal, RF, FPGA, embedded/firmware, and emulation.
- Screen candidate profiles for technical relevance, compensation, notice period, and role fit prior to hiring team reviews.
- Maintain recruiting data and metrics within the ATS while monitoring requisition status and candidate pipelines.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of recruitment experience, with significant hands-on experience in Semiconductor/VLSI/EDA hiring.
- Understanding of semiconductor terminology, engineering functions, skill adjacencies, and talent pools.
- Proven track record of sourcing and closing specialized technical positions.
- Hands-on experience with ATS platforms and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Naukri.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management, negotiation, and candidate-engagement skills.
Nice to have
- Engineering or Electronics degree background.
- Experience recruiting for semiconductor product, EDA, or IP organizations.
- Knowledge of major semiconductor talent markets and target companies in India.
- Experience with research-led sourcing, talent mapping, and recruiting analytics.
