About the role
The Associate Field Sales Engineer joins an 18-month Graduate Rotational Development Program across four rotations before transitioning to the Americas Automotive Sales Team in Livonia, MI. The role focuses on customer-facing technical engagements, account development, and analog and mixed-signal system solutions for Tier 1 and OEM automotive customers.
What you'll do
- Complete a structured four-rotation curriculum covering technical training, analog and mixed-signal circuit and system design, and customer engagements.
- Assist in the design, evaluation, and optimization of customer hardware and software systems.
- Identify customer requirements and distinguish critical system needs from desired features.
- Educate customers on products, services, and system solutions through technical presentations and demonstrations.
- Interface with Tier 1 and OEM automotive customers alongside field applications teams to resolve application-level challenges.
- Develop and maintain relationships across customer engineering teams as well as internal product line management, marketing, and engineering organizations.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Aptitude for relationship building, influencing technical decisions, and developing both technical and commercial expertise.
- Ability to relocate to Southeastern Michigan upon completion of the 18-month rotational program.
- Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
