About the role
This role involves developing embedded software according to the SDK Vision and Roadmap, collaborating with SW Architects, and ensuring software quality.
What you'll do
- Develop embedded software in respective areas.
- Write, test, and document embedded software.
- Schedule tasks and report progress to the project leader.
- Mentor and supervise junior team members.
What you'll need
- 2-3 years of experience in Embedded SW development.
- C programming know-how and experience in design/development of software in deeply embedded platforms.
- Experience with 8-bit to 32-bit RISC processor architectures such as ARM and ARM Cortex.
- Fully competent in all aspects of software engineering, concerning coding and testing.
- Verification and testing of deliverables against specifications and requirements.
- Ability to work with test tools such as oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, multimeters and logic analyzers.
- Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, SW testing) and SCM (Bitbucket, Git, SVN).
Nice to have
- Experience with Zephyr RTOS.
- Proven contribution in open source software (OSS) community.
- Bluetooth Low Energy protocol.
- Multithreaded micro-kernel RTOS’s.
- Security/Cryptography concepts.
