What you'll do
- Design and simulate high-speed analog mixed-signal IC products from concept to manufacturing.
- Implement new designs to specification and support existing products.
- Capture and share simulation results, measurements, and methodologies.
- Prepare technical reviews and product documentation.
- Lab evaluate high-speed analog circuits.
- Plan and report progress of work.
What you'll need
- BASc degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with significant IC design content.
- Design experience in high-speed CMOS and/or BiCMOS.
- Thorough understanding of analog circuit theory, transmission lines, and device fundamentals.
- Experience with analog CAD tools, such as Cadence Virtuoso or equivalent.
Nice to have
- RF modelling, Matlab, or system modelling software knowledge.
- Familiarity of high-speed components such as VCOs, PLLs, wide-band amplifiers and data converters.
- Hands-on experience with high-speed lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers and oscilloscopes.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python.
