About the role
This role is responsible for assembling products according to specifications and ensuring quality control standards are met.
What you'll do
- Read, understand, and adhere to work instructions, BOMs, and assembly drawings
- Use hand tools properly and safely
- Perform mechanical assembly of products within acceptable quality and output levels
- Inspect products and properly identify non-conformance
- Operate pass/fail test equipment (ALTF, PD Test, etc.)
- Maintain workstation cleanliness through SS standards and follow site requirements for disposal of recyclable materials and hazardous waste
What you'll need
- Previous experience with opto-electronics and PCB commodities
- Working experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma environments
- Basic knowledge and practice of ESD and 5S principles
- Safety and chemical awareness
