Develop hardware security solutions and IP for Snapdragon chip sets across architecture, RTL, and silicon testing.
About the role
The Hardware Security team is seeking Hardware Design engineers to develop security solution products for Snapdragon chip sets across the full product creation flow.
What you'll do
- Drive hardware security product creation across architecture, microarchitecture, and IP development. - Develop Verilog and SystemVerilog RTL designs for security subsystems and modules. - Handle synthesis, timing closure, layout interaction, and clock domain crossings. - Implement security solutions, countermeasures, and techniques across the ASIC flow. - Support validation, DFT, and silicon testing.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience (or Master's with 5+ years, or PhD with 4+ years). - Experience and understanding of the ASIC design flow: architecture, microarchitecture, Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL design, clock domain crossings, DFT, synthesis, and timing closure. - Working knowledge of bus protocols, clocks/resets, and debug concepts.
Nice to have
- Experience with microcontroller CPUs, buses (AHB/AXI/others), or peripherals. - Experience with system level architecture, complex subsystems, integration of analog and digital IP, implementation techniques, and silicon test. - Experience with high-speed, low area, and low power architecture. - Experience in hardware security fields such as Root of Trust, RNG, symmetric and asymmetric crypto, side-channel, error correction codes, and hardening. - Experience in verification, modeling, and test-planning. - Master's or PhD degree.
