About the role
As an Applications Engineer, you will provide expertise in overlay metrology to support customer technologies and requirements.
What you'll do
- Provide expertise in overlay metrology, including eBeam and optical metrology.
- Understand customer technologies, requirements, and critical capability gaps.
- Lead projects from kickoff through completion, including planning and reporting.
- Perform complex data and image analysis using data-analysis tools.
- Communicate and present results to internal and external customers.
What you'll need
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Engineering or Physics, or a related field.
- Expertise in overlay metrology, including eBeam, optical metrology, or both.
- In-depth understanding of customer technologies, requirements, and critical capability gaps.
- Knowledge of optical CD, scatterometry, film metrology, and process characterization.
- Ability to perform complex data and image analysis.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python, MATLAB, JMP, SQL, or similar analytical tools.
