About the role
This role is responsible for application support for DDR PMICs (Power Management Integrated Circuits) within the Data Center vertical, working with a global customer base of DRAM vendors.
What you'll do
- Answer customer questions and support design-in activities for released products.
- Provide expert technical support via forums and email to resolve DDR power challenges.
- Perform schematic and layout reviews of customer applications.
- Debug customer issues by recreating scenarios on TI evaluation boards or directly on customer boards.
- Navigate critical design windows and manage technical requirements for Intel AVL qualification.
- Create custom reference designs targeting specific Data Center applications.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Foundational knowledge of power electronics (DC-DC conversion) and control loop theory.
- Experience with PCB design tools and power layout principles.
- Willingness to travel frequently to support global customers.
Nice to have
- Deep understanding of control loop stability and compensation.
- Experience with automation/scripting (Python, MATLAB, etc.) for data collection and testing.
- Direct experience with DDR (DDR4/5/6) or the Data Center/Memory market.
- Proven track record of managing complex technical projects within tight design windows.
