About the role
This role provides customer technical expertise, evaluation support, and troubleshooting for Monolithic Power Systems battery management systems products across industrial applications. Technical focus centers on high voltage BMS used in energy storage, power tools, or electric vehicles.
What you'll do
- Recommend, set up, and demonstrate MPS BMS products and provide technical assistance to customers through prototyping, troubleshooting, and design. - Set up and test evaluation boards requiring firmware and software support using standard lab equipment and battery systems. - Collaborate directly with the factory product line team—including marketing, test, production, and design engineers—to customize customer solutions and resolve issues. - Write technical documentation, datasheets, articles, and application notes to support customer requirements and the sales organization. - Support customer engagement, technical training activities, and industry events including tradeshows. - Identify and generate new product ideas and feature recommendations based on customer feedback and activity.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field (or MS) and 2–3 years of industry experience in battery management systems. - Experience with high voltage BMS for industrial applications such as energy storage, power tools, or electric vehicles. - Hands-on experience working with standard lab equipment, evaluation boards, and battery systems. - Proficiency in written and spoken English.
