About the role

This role involves supporting Intel's advanced manufacturing and research operations by managing chemical sampling, laboratory analysis, and precision data handling within the Substrate Packaging Technology Development (SPTD) Labs.

What you'll do

  • Prepare and analyze chemical samples using advanced laboratory techniques, including titration, ICP-OES, HPLC/IC, CVS, and other analytical methods.
  • Safely handle, mix, and store chemicals in strict accordance with established safety protocols and standards.
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize laboratory data, preparing and presenting clear reports to engineers and key stakeholders.
  • Perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on laboratory tools and equipment to maintain accuracy, precision, and operational readiness.
  • Support process transfers, Best Known Methods (BKM) development, and cross-training initiatives to strengthen team capabilities and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate closely with lab engineers and managers to ensure ISO 9001 compliance, equipment availability, and timely delivery of analytical results.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a STEM-related field; OR Associate’s degree in a STEM-related field with 2+ years of maintenance or chemical handling experience.
  • Proficiency in laboratory techniques including sample preparation, chemical handling, and analytical measurements.
  • Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment such as ICP-OES, HPLC, CVS, and titration tools.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related STEM discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or laboratory environments.
  • Experience with analytical methods such as Ion Chromatography, Liquid Chromatography, and other chemical analysis techniques.
