About the role
This co-op/intern role involves learning and applying analog/mixed-signal IC design and simulation techniques to investigate selected topics of interest, working with one or more blocks within various subsystems. The work will focus on subsystems such as Analog front-end and RX EQ circuits, Phase interpolators, Clock synthesis, clock distribution and clock muxing, Decision-feedback equalizers, Transmit path, and Biasing.
What you'll do
- Utilize and learn analog/mixed-signal IC design techniques
- Utilize and learn simulation techniques
- Investigate selected topics of interest related to IC design
- Work with analog front-end and RX EQ circuits
- Document circuit experiments and simulation results
- Present circuit experiments and simulation results in internal design review meetings
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in MS or BS program with major in EE or equivalent
- Canadian Citizen or permanent resident
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Analog aptitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Nice to have
- Familiarity with scripting languages
