About the role
This role involves producing high-quality layouts for complex Analog/Mixed-Signal IP blocks, with a focus on power management products such as DC-DC PMIC/POL, Multiphase controllers, and voltage regulators.
What you'll do
- Produce high quality layout for complex AMS IP blocks (voltage regulators, bandgap, current sense-amp, amplifier, high voltage switches, drivers).
- Work on layouts of block/module level for integrated circuits from schematics and verify using design rules.
- Perform layout floor planning, power routing, latch-up, ESD layout, and area optimization.
- Execute DRC, LVS, LVL, LEF generation, ERC, Antenna, Density, and EM checks.
- Collaborate with design engineers for innovative, optimal solutions.
What you'll need
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related with 2 years of experience.
- Experience in delivering high quality analog layout IPs.
- Good understanding of layout fundamentals and best practices.
- Proficiency in interpretation of CALIBRE DRC, ERC, LVS, reports.
- Experience with CADENCE or MENTOR GRAPHICS layout tools.
- Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing process and DFM techniques.
- Proficient at debugging/fixing LVS/DRC errors.
- Familiarity with Cadence Design Environment (CDE) and Unix OS.
Nice to have
- Programming knowledge in SKILL, Perl, and/or Python.
