About the role
This role involves the design of I/O circuits and ensuring their robustness through comprehensive simulations.
What you'll do
- Design I/O circuits like GPIOs (failsafe, non-failsafe), level shifters, LVDS I/O, bandgap, LDO, and multi-voltage buffers, optimizing for power, performance, and area.
- Ensure design robustness using PVT corner simulations, reliability analysis, and Monte Carlo analysis.
- Perform post-layout simulations, debug, and provide guidance to layout engineers.
- Analyze and document verification data in detail.
- Understand and provide input on dotlibs, Verilog, and IBIS data generation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IP seamlessly at the SoC level.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 2 years of relevant experience.
Nice to have
- Strong understanding of CMOS transistors and short channel effects.
- Experience in designing failsafe and non-failsafe I/O types, multi-voltage design, and LVDS.
- Knowledge of ESD protection schemes, I/O standards, dotlibs, Verilog, and IBIS.
- Ability to optimize I/O for performance, power, and area.
- Ability to run comprehensive PVT corner simulations, reliability analysis, Monte Carlo analysis, and signal integrity checks (crosstalk/ISI).
Skills: I/O circuits, GPIOs, level shifters, LVDS I/O, bandgap, LDO, multi-voltage buffers, CMOS transistors
