About the role

As an Algorithm Developer, you will be responsible for leading the research, design, development, and implementation of algorithmic modules. You will evaluate algorithmic concepts and feasibility for image processing algorithms on optical wafer inspection data.

What you'll do

- Drive end-to-end algorithm development projects independently, from problem statement refinement to production deployment. - Prototype algorithmic approaches to address complex problems based on customer use cases. - Collaborate with software, systems, and applications teams to productize new algorithm solutions that meet defined specifications. - Evaluate and develop image processing algorithms for defect detection, pattern recognition, anomaly detection, classification, and image registration on optical wafer inspection data. - Design and implement solutions combining classical mathematical algorithms with deep learning approaches to solve inspection challenges. - Optimize algorithms to reduce computational cost and influence hardware requirements.

What you'll need

- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with 4+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience. - Proven experience in the semiconductor industry. - Strong background in computer vision, image processing, and deep learning technologies. - Proficiency in C/C++ and Python, with hands-on experience using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar to write production-quality code. - Experience with chip design data formats including GDSII and OASIS. - Solid academic foundation in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence.

Nice to have

- GPU programming experience like CUDA, and algorithm optimization and tuning skills. - Working knowledge of AI-assisted coding tools.
