Altera is seeking an AI Platform & Security Engineer to design, develop, and secure AI platforms, intelligent applications, and cloud-native services. The role focuses on building Generative AI solutions, agentic AI systems, secure AI infrastructure, and enterprise-grade AI platforms.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI, LLM, RAG, and agentic AI solutions. - Build and maintain AI platforms, model serving infrastructure, evaluation frameworks, and AI application services in cloud and hybrid environments. - Implement AI security practices, including model protection, prompt injection defenses, data protection, access controls, secrets management, and secure deployment patterns. - Perform threat modeling, security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and remediation activities across AI applications and cloud infrastructure. - Develop CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and DevSecOps practices for AI workloads and cloud services. - Design observability, monitoring, and guardrail frameworks for AI systems to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience building Generative AI, LLM, RAG, Agentic AI, or machine learning applications in production environments. - Strong programming skills in Python and modern software development frameworks. - Experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or similar technologies. - Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) alongside containers, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native architectures. - Knowledge of AI security, application security, cloud security, Zero Trust principles, IAM, vulnerability management, DevSecOps, and model evaluation frameworks.
