About the role
This full-time intern role involves designing, building, and deploying machine learning solutions for Skyworks' engineering and business teams. You will take ownership of small projects from data gathering to implementation.
What you'll do
- Gather and analyze engineering and business data to identify AI/ML solution opportunities.
- Develop code for core use case functionality with guidance.
- Design and implement new procedures and workflows for AI/ML projects.
- Identify bottlenecks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy solutions.
- Assist with documentation, reporting, and other project deliverables.
What you'll need
- Current Junior/Senior undergraduate or Graduate student studying Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience using programming languages (Python) and AI/ML frameworks like Pytorch.
- Understanding of AI algorithms.
- Proficiency using VSCode or other programming IDEs.
Nice to have
- Programming in Python 2+ years.
- Understanding of AI/ML algorithms.
- Ability to quickly learn company-specific software (Agentic AI, LangChain, LangGraph, Genie, Databricks, PowerBI).
