About the role
This is a hands-on Developer Relations role on the DevRel team creating prototypes that demonstrate fast inference, optimizing harnesses around models, and authoring developer content.
What you'll do
- Write blogs, tutorials, walkthroughs, and practical guides grounded in technical experiments. - Build sample applications, notebooks, and interactive experiences to showcase fast inference. - Optimize the code and workflows around models, including prompts, tool use, context management, orchestration, and evaluation. - Experiment with models to evaluate capabilities, limitations, and performance on realistic workloads. - Design practical tests, measure results, validate technical claims, and document assumptions and tradeoffs. - Partner with Product, Engineering, and New Media to deliver technical launch examples, workshops, and developer documentation.
What you'll need
- A portfolio of AI applications, prototypes, technical writing, tutorials, or developer-facing work. - Hands-on experience building with model APIs and debugging AI application workflows. - Technical writing skills capable of translating implementations and experimental results into clear explanations. - Experience working with agent harnesses or related workflows involving prompting, tool calling, context management, and evaluation. - Technical judgment to design fair comparisons, verify results, and isolate observations from assumptions. - Ability to scope projects, ship independently, and engage with developers to troubleshoot integrations.
Nice to have
- Experience optimizing latency, responsiveness, or reliability in AI applications. - Contributions to open-source projects, developer tools, or publicly available technical examples. - Experience teaching developers through workshops, talks, or live demonstrations.
