About the role
This internship involves working with an assigned engineer to improve process and equipment engineering within a 300mm factory environment.
What you'll do
- Reduce variability in process recovery procedures.
- Increase the ability to detect problems earlier and enhance LOD.
- Reduce cost of chemicals and/or qualification wafers.
- Standardize processes across like equipment.
- Enhance process performance measurement techniques.
- Lead improvement projects and present results.
What you'll need
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s in Chemical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- At least a sophomore at the time of application.
- Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- English language fluency (written & verbal).
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
Nice to have
- Prior related internship or co-op experience.
- Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies.
- Prior leadership experience.
- Project management skills.
- SPC Controls experience.
