About the role
This role is for an Account Manager focused on supporting customer relationships and business growth for Keysight Technologies throughout Wisconsin and Illinois. The Account Manager will connect customers with Keysight's test and measurement solutions.
What you'll do
- Support growth and management of customer accounts within Wisconsin and Illinois.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular engagement.
- Learn customers' technical and business objectives and identify opportunities.
- Assist in developing account plans and strategies to support revenue growth.
- Participate in customer meetings, product presentations, demonstrations, and trade events.
- Generate and qualify sales opportunities through customer outreach and networking.
- Maintain opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer information within CRM systems.
- Support contract, quotation, and proposal activities in partnership with internal teams.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Support, and Operations teams.
- Stay informed on industry trends, customer applications, and emerging technologies.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience, including internships, co-op programs, technical support, engineering, business development, or customer-facing roles.
- Strong interest in technology, sales, customer relationship management, and business development.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to learn complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and desire to grow within a sales organization.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
Nice to have
- Internship, co-op, or academic project experience in RF, wireless communications, electronics, semiconductors, aerospace and defense, automotive, or test and measurement technologies.
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, or related instrumentation.
- Exposure to customer-facing activities, presentations, technical demonstrations, or sales projects.
- Understanding of RF, microwave, wireless communications, or high-speed digital technologies.
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
