About the role
This role involves managing customer relationships and driving business growth for test and measurement solutions in Illinois.
What you'll do
- Support the growth and management of customer accounts within Illinois.
- Build and maintain customer relationships through engagement and communication.
- Learn customers' technical and business objectives and identify value-creation opportunities.
- Assist in developing account plans and strategies for revenue growth.
- Generate and qualify sales opportunities through customer outreach and networking.
- Maintain opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer information within CRM systems.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 0-2 years of professional experience, including internships, co-op programs, technical support, engineering, business development, or customer-facing roles.
- Strong interest in technology, sales, customer relationship management, and business development.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to learn complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
Nice to have
- Internship, co-op, or academic project experience in RF, wireless communications, electronics, semiconductors, aerospace and defense, automotive, or test and measurement technologies.
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, or related instrumentation.
- Exposure to customer-facing activities, presentations, technical demonstrations, or sales projects.
- Understanding of RF, microwave, wireless communications, or high-speed digital technologies.
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
