About the role
As a Software Test Engineering intern/co-op, you will participate in different phases of the Software Test lifecycle in close collaboration with development teams and Project Engineers to drive defects to closures. This role involves building Test Cases/Plans for new features and products including dGPU and APU, and new Operating Systems like Linux and/or Windows.
What you'll do
- Develop and complete automated and manual Test Plans/Test Case with various test strategies.
- Prioritize and handle several concurrent projects and testing tasks.
- Reproduce, troubleshoot, and triage software defects, report them, and drive them to closure.
- Build Test Case/Plan for new features, new products (dGPU and APU), and new Operating Systems (Linux and/or Windows).
- Identify matrices and measurements for various aspects of the software QA development cycle.
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in a US-based university in a bachelor's degree program majoring in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge/experience with software quality analysis process and methodology.
- Experience with PC configuration (both Software and Hardware) and methods of Troubleshooting.
- Programming/scripting skills like Python, VBA, C++, or Selenium framework.
- Exposure to development/triaging/debugging in Linux and/or Windows environment.
- Exposure to databases and reporting tools.
