About the role
As an Undergrad Compiler Engineering Intern/Co-op, you will work on a compiler for the P4 language targeting a domain-specific architecture implemented in AMD's family of ASICs.
What you'll do
- Work on a compiler for the P4 language targeting a domain-specific architecture implemented in ASICs.
- Contribute to the build and development of the compiler, based on open-source software such as LLVM and P4C.
- Collaborate with both compiler customers and the dedicated ASIC team.
- Receive mentorship from senior engineers for skill improvement.
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in a US-based university in a Bachelor's program majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in object-oriented languages, with a preference for C++.
- Coursework or previous experience in compilers, data structures, and programming languages.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with GitHub and CI/CD methodologies.
