About the role
This role involves assisting with design validation, troubleshooting electronic assemblies, and supporting firmware development for custom electronics on semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
What you'll do
- Assist with design validation of various electronic designs.
- Measure electrical signals with a scope or multimeter and perform statistical analysis on data.
- Install and troubleshoot electronic assemblies on Applied Materials equipment.
- Support development and validation of firmware for custom electronics.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Experience with using electronic lab equipment (scope, multimeter, function generators).
Nice to have
- Experience with FPGA (Intel/Altera tool chain preferred).
- Experience with MCU (STM32 tool chain preferred).
