About the role
This internship involves contributing to embedded firmware, software tools, software drivers, or system test projects within the engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Develop, debug, and optimize firmware for commercial product platforms.
- Create cross-platform desktop tools, automation, plugins, or APIs.
- Develop, debug, and optimize Linux and MCU device drivers.
- Build and run automated tests through CI systems such as Jenkins.
- Develop and run automated functional, system, and stress tests on hardware from FPGA emulation to silicon.
What you'll need
- Enrolled in MEng or BEng in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering or a related subject, on track for a 2:1 or better.
- Experience with development/evaluation of signal processing.
- Good understanding of software development principles.
- Interest in Embedded Systems.
- Excellent problem-solving ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
