About the role
As a Manufacturing Technician Intern, you will perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, or conduct technical tests and experiments in the wafer fabrication area.
What you'll do
- Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and vendor documents to isolate and repair malfunctions.
- Conduct technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area.
- Monitor, audit, and provide guidance to line operators once the product is on the line.
- Test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
What you'll need
- High School diploma/GED.
- Currently enrolled in a Technical Certificate or Associates program in Electrical/Electronic Technology, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, Automated Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Robotics, Industrial Systems and Controls, Electromechanical Technology, or related electronics field.
- Ability to work day or night shift, including one weekend shift and holidays.
Nice to have
- Thorough understanding of vacuum, RF, AC/DC and digital electronic theory.
- Ability to assemble, disassemble and reassemble complex mechanical assemblies.
