About the role
This role involves identifying process improvement opportunities and supporting manufacturing engineering in a materials science and engineering solutions company.
What you'll do
- Identify process improvement opportunities with build and test technicians.
- Execute time studies on build and test lines.
- Lead small manufacturing process improvement projects.
- Develop and update operation method sequences (OMSs).
- Support manufacturing engineering with part defect root cause analysis and processing.
What you'll need
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.
- Demonstrated skills in troubleshooting and hands-on problem solving.
- Quick learner and willingness to learn new skills.
Nice to have
- Engineering experience in development or manufacturing environment.
