About the role
The Technician Apprenticeship Program combines on-the-job training, technical instruction, and mentorship across Equipment, Process, or Facilities disciplines. Apprentices work with mentors to support semiconductor manufacturing operations on 300mm factory equipment and industrial plant systems.
What you'll do
- Perform preventive maintenance, quality checks, and defect troubleshooting on 300mm semiconductor equipment or plant systems. - Monitor wafer processing operations, analyze Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts, and respond to factory system error alarms following SOPs. - Operate, maintain, and adjust gas, chemical, or industrial water distribution systems, including filtration, pumping systems, and chemical analyzers. - Attend and complete technical instructional coursework delivered in classroom or online formats while maintaining required training records. - Comply with all cleanroom protocols, safety guidelines, and Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHS) requirements.
What you'll need
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. - At least 18 years of age and legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. - Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. - Typing speed of at least 25 WPM. - Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures and instructions.
